By default the "Recipient Filter" is not disabled in Exchange Server 2003. To prevent unwanted emails not listed in your Active Directory, here's what you need to do.
  • Open the ESM (Exchange System Manager) exchange management tool
  • In Global Settings, right click on Message Delivery, then select Properties.

  • Put check on "Filter recipients who are not in the Directory">
Well you're not done yet, that's one part only. If you are not using a third-party anti-spam tools, you need to check your SMTP protocol setting. Here's how to:
  • In ESM, go to Administrative Groups, First Administrative Group
  • Expand Servers, then SERVER name.
  • Expand Protocols, SMTP, right click on "Default SMTP Virtual Server" then Properties.
  • In Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties, click Advance.
  • In Advanced, click Edit
  • Put check in "Apply Recipient Filter.
You don't need to restart your Exchange Server, now go check your anti-spam logs if traffic improve for your emails.

Sleeping Tips

  • Make Money While You Sleep! Learn How To Quit Your Full Time Job, Earn Money While You Sleep By Becoming An Expert In Domains? This EBook Will Teach You How To Get Started In The Domain Business And Allow You To Become Successful In Buying, Selling And Developing Domains.

I've got this sleeping tips from email so I'm sharing this to you. Please let me know if this make sense.

There is an old saying which says, " When sleeping, sleep like a bow." This suggests that to sleep on one's side, bending like a bow is a good sleeping position. The best sleeping position is either lying comfortably on your back, or sleeping on your right side. Sleeping flat on one's stomach is not good because this causes pressure on the lungs, heart and other organs. Sleeping on the left side is not good because this causes too much pressure on the heart. Sleeping on the right side frees the heart to supply blood more easily. This is particularly helpful for the flow of blood to the liver, thus facilitating improved metabolism.

People tend to change their sleeping positions at least twenty and up to forty or fifty times during the course of a night.

Flow Chart's of Obama's Health Care Plan.

I've got this flow chart (click the image to see the big picture) from fastcompany.com website today to give you a visual aid to understand the proposed Obama's Health Care Plan.

I think the only missing information that is not included in this flow chart is the cost for the tax paper. How much money (in $) will be deducted in your pay check?

The flow chart gives me a good understanding of the benefits but how much will it cost me as a tax payer?

New ways to read news online using Google Fast Flip

Posted by Support @ Whaddya.com On 12:17 AM 0 comments
This is another great addition to Google Labs, Fast Flip to make your online experience easier and faster than before.

"One problem with reading news online today is that browsing can be really slow. A media-rich page loads dozens of files and can take as much as 10 seconds to load over broadband, which can be frustrating. What we need instead is a way to flip through articles really fast without unnatural delays, just as we can in print. The flow should feel seamless and let you rapidly flip forward to the content you like, without the constant wait for things to load. Imagine taking 10 seconds to turn the page of a print magazine!" Netstumble.com Domain Name WHOIS History (or Whois Archive)

Posted by Support @ Whaddya.com On 9:42 PM 0 comments
The weekend is almost over so I would like to share the BETA released of Netstumble.com to provide a domain name WHOIS archive service for FREE. The domain name WHOIS record is available for public to provide information of the current owner. If you use a Privacy ID, Proxy ID or other WHOIS security related services, the registrant, technical and administrative contact information such as name, address, phone, email, etc. are masked using the Privacy ID information to protect from unsolicited emails offering their services.

The Netstumble.com domain name WHOIS record will start archiving checked domain names. So in the future, you can go back and see the status of a domain name.

  • You can check the website data for title, meta descriptions, and keywords.
  • You can search engine and traffic standing (or ranks) from third party sources such as Alexa, Google, MSN, Yahoo, DMOZ, Archive, etc.
  • You can check the domain name data if it available to register or backorder
  • You can check the WHOIS record e.g. name, address, phone, email address, etc.
We are still in BETA stage, and here's a brief road map for you. Of course, the road map will change as needed.
  1. To provide WHOIS archive check for domain name (or URL Address), for example netstumble.com
  2. To provide WHOIS archive check for Alexa, Google Pagerank, etc.
  3. To provide our own forum to support our community.
  4. and more to be added here... Please post your suggestions here.
The initial WHOIS project is powered by Targetdomain.com script.

If you're interested to join this project, please send email to EM @ KING.NET. Here's what needed for volunteers as of this time:
  1. PHP Programmers
  2. AJAX Programmers
  3. Marketing to promote this project.
That's all for now. God Bless

If you're a entrepreneur or small business that own and manage a number of domain names. Once in a while you will receive a bogus offer enticing you to use their appraisal service for them to buy your domain name. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE, just add the email to your black listed spam database.

we have an interest to purchase your domain KING.NET (as example I removed the actual domain name) and usually offer between 50% and 65% of the appraised value.
We can accept valuations from leading companies such as

Transferring a personal contact list is easy as pie if you are a computer technician or email administrator or system engineer. But as ordinary computer user, can you do it?

Don't worry, here's a simple guide for you to backup your contacts.

  1. Open your outlook program, click Tools, Options
  2. In Options, click the Email Setup tab, click Data files
  3. In Outlook Data Files, click Add, New Outlook data files, then OK
  4. It will ask you to save the Personal Folder. For this backup, save a copy to your c:/temp. If the temp folder is not available, create the folder.
  5. Now, let's copy the Contact in your new Personal Folder (backup)
  6. Click on Contacts, in My Contacts, right click on and select copy "Contacts" and choose your Personal Folder (backup).
You just created your contact list in Personal Folder. Copy this file that we save in c:\temp e.g. Personal Folder.pst file to your new computer so you can transfer your contact list to your new Outlook setup.

Let's restore your contact list to your new computer.
  1. In your new computer. Copy the Personal Folder backup from your old computer to your new computer c:\temp folder. If temp folder doesn't exist, create new folder and name it as "temp".
  2. Open your outlook program, click Tools, Options
  3. In Options, click the Email Setup tab, click Data files
  4. In Outlook Data Files, click Add, New Outlook data files, then OK
  5. Select the Personal Folder backup in c:\temp to open.
  6. Now, let's copy the Contact from your Personal Folder backup to your new Outlook Contacts.
  7. You can drag and drop the contact lists or copy the whole contacts.
This complete moving Contact list from old to new computer. I hope this help.

Please post comments if you need assistance.

How to Relax and Beat the Stress

Posted by Support @ Whaddya.com On 12:30 AM 0 comments
Guest Post by Cherie Depano-Magsanoc

Stress can be defined as any chain of events that seem beyond our control and causes tension. In some stressful conditions we feel trapped and unable to cope. If this continues one breaks down and illness takes over the body. Stress must be released in order to lead a normal healthy life.

When we start taking things too seriously and control factors that cannot be controlled, we feel stressed. The circumstances that cause stress become too powerful and we feel helpless to do anything. According to an estimate, 70-90% of people in today’s world are stressed. Life has become too fast paced and unless we take some time to relax and ease stress, we will not be able to survive.

Relaxing to Beat the Stress

In order to beat the stress and unwind, one needs to relax. Relaxation is opposite to work and stress. When we work too hard and get stressed, relaxation is needed. Stress is something very personal and in each person, the intensity of suffering differs. It also depends on how it is looked at and interpreted. The only way to control stress is to see things in a different perspective. Stop taking everything personally to heart and you will see that you will feel light and stress free.

If you feel tired and spent and have no or little inspiration to enjoy life or do something in life, it means that you are lacking relaxation in your life. Time that is spent on doing what you like and enjoying is relaxing. One can relax by engaging in different activities such as gardening, pursuing a hobby or joining a club.

Tips on How to Relax and Beat the Stress:

Let go of things over which you have no control
Be prepared for stress when you know things will get tensed
Try to work out and resolve the issues that involve or lead up to stress
Be realistic enough to know what you can and cannot do
Eat, drink and get enough rest; this is the most important thing to relax
Break things down a bit. Take one step at a time, this helps in relaxing and feeling better
Take over some new projects or jobs to help you in relaxing, some small jobs will not only provide you with an outlet but also give you a sense of satisfaction.
You can also get a pet; pets are good ways of relaxing, you can play with them and take them to walk. They prove a good distraction during stress.

It can be said the by making use of some of these tips and relaxing, it is possible to overcome stress and live a normal life. However, it is advised that you also take into consideration the factors that lead up to stress and try to control them too.

September 1, 2009 Gmail Outage

Posted by Support @ Whaddya.com On 12:27 AM 0 comments
To all system administrator and/or email administrator out there don't feel bad if once a year you have un-schedule email downtime. Even a billion dollar company experienced their own email outage today, this is Google Gmail service. The Gmail service is down for about 100 minutes before they fixed the server overload issue.

"Around 12:45 PM PDT, a majority of Gmail users began having trouble accessing their accounts. During this interruption, users were still able to connect to their accounts via IMAP and POP. At approximately 2:15 PM PDT, the issue was resolved and access was restored. We use Google Apps here at Google, and our email accounts were among those that were impacted. I understand how disruptive this service interruption was for our users and customers, and I'm very sorry for the inconvenience." (2009, googleenterprise.blogspot.com)

and a follow blog post here.

"Gmail's web interface had a widespread outage earlier today, lasting about 100 minutes. We know how many people rely on Gmail for personal and professional communications, and we take it very seriously when there's a problem with the service. Thus, right up front, I'd like to apologize to all of you — today's outage was a Big Deal, and we're treating it as such. We've already thoroughly investigated what happened, and we're currently compiling a list of things we intend to fix or improve as a result of the investigation." (2009, gmailblog.blogspot.com)

In the future, if you suspect that you have Gmail or Google Apps issue you can check in http://www.google.com/appsstatus website.

I will definitely will stay with Google Apps and still recommend them as your alternative email service.
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance."

The error above is common in Exchange Server community but still a puzzle to solve by other system administrator or exchange administrator. This is a quick guide what to check if one of your user complain that he/she can't access your email server.

It is obvious that you have a MAPI connection issue, so start by checking the Event application viewer of your Exchange Server. You should be able to see the read error for MSExhangeIS (source). When you double click this error, here's a sample description:
