I configured this network device to send me alert when the room temperature goes below or above my LAN room set range. And also send me alert with picture through the use of Camera Motion detection feature during times that no one in the office. Of course you can configure this device according to your company Information Technology policy.

I know some other brands that you can use. For my specific needs, monitoring my LAN room, Temperature, capturing photo and sending me alert. This is perfect for me.
Someone also asked me about transporting big folders/files to another media. If CD or DVD is not enough, you can buy a USB Drive up to 8GB in capacity. The last time I checked, for 8GB capacity will cost you $19.99 a piece or cheaper.
