Humanoid Robotics

I am always fascinated by any robots e.g. a toy, movies, games and I am now trying to collect some of them which only I can afford. By browsing the Internet today, I accidentally stumble to this website Pal-Robotics.com which they build the next generation of Humanoid Robot. The company is based in UAE, currently working with REEM-B prototype, yes there is REEM-A robot. I also went to see David Faconti personal blog so I can find out what knowledge should I concentrate to build my own robot. Not much to read at this time but maybe in the near future he will share some ideas. Here's the link to see the comparison between REEM-A VS REEM-B. Here are some video links that I enjoyed watching: Sony robots performing japanese dance http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-579612042933384370 Robot wrestling competition http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-579612042933384370 Demo of Honda Asimo in Korea http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5770321237399319353&q=&hl=en Wel

Introducing third-party ads on the Google content network

The Google content network now accepts display ads served from qualified third-party vendors. Third-party ad serving has been a longstanding request from top brand AdWords advertisers who use third parties to create and manage their online campaigns. Initially, we will be only accepting third-party ads in English, but we hope to expand to other languages soon. Making the Google content network more accessible to large brand advertisers also benefits AdSense publishers and end users. Third-party ad serving will introduce a greater variety of advertising into the Google content network, increase the inventory of quality display ads competing to show on AdSense publisher sites, and offer more engaging ads for end users. In the long run, we believe the increased inventory and ad competition will result in increased revenue for many AdSense publishers. continue reading: http://adsense.blogspot.com/?utm_source=aso&utm_campaign=ww-en_US-et-asfe&utm_medium=link

MXToolBox.com nice tool to have.

I have one customers that stop sending email (delivery) to their intended recipients, but not all. For example, they can successfully send email to @gmail.com, @msn.com, and other company email addresses, but not to dsa.mil, cisa.mil and other companies that use public spam databases e.g. abuse.net, http://www.spamhaus.org/ , messagelabs.com (e-mail service), etc. My first impression is their email server public IP address is listed in one of these public spam database. So I head out to visit http://www.mxtoolbox.com/ website and use their Blacklists tool. This is a army swiss box tool for any IT Consultant out there, all you have to do is check your client e-mail server public IP address and wait for the result. If you're in their website, try the Email Header Analyzer tool as well. You will be surprise how easy to troubleshoot an email flow. I thought this is a useful tool for everyone in information technology.

Knowing your visitors

I've been using Google web analytic for years but not paying attention to it. Well, after reading this article Web Analytics Demystified by Avinash Kaushik (thanks to Steve M of SimplyGeo.com for the link) it gave me ways to understand my visitors and concentrate on their specific needs. I suggest that you read the article too if you want to improve your website contents and increase revenue. The Google Web Analytics is free to use, so go there and register for your website. You can assign analytic code to each of your websites so you can track each visits, page views, bounce rate, etc. Enough said, I already provided some reading links for you. Check them and don't be lazy (^_^).

Developing a website for business!

Developing a website is a challenge for everyone, some don't have knowledge to start, some don't have the money, some don't have the time, etc. Which one are you? I personally having a time management issue to start a project. I believe 24 hours is not enough for me. I'm asking God to make it 48 hours. Just kidding. Seriously, I plan to develop a domain to a full website at least 1 web project a week. So far, I'm behind 1-2 weeks for every project. The last project is www.Chicago-City.com and www.FairfaxCity.com , the design and content is 80-90% complete. I need to bring up the advertising space so the visitors will know that we are accepting ad space . I have the graphics for ad space ready, so integrating the auto paypal payment is next. I hope to can complete this task in a week. I'm also building my development team but very slow in process. So I guess I will be another months of managing my time in a more productive way. Hey what about my Marketing Team

Is the future of TV on the Web?

(CNN) -- The future of television is changing before our eyes, as media giants scramble to stake their claims in the wilderness of Internet video. Major studios, including Fox, NBC Universal, and Warner Bros. are moving quickly to establish Web sites for their premium video titles, in hopes of grabbing a growing audience of online video viewers. It's an exciting time for couch potatoes and mouse potatoes alike, because nobody knows exactly how big audiences will consume video entertainment in the not-too-distant future -- whether it's on a mobile device, a laptop, a wall-mounted screen or something that hasn't been invented yet. "Historically, the winners are the ones who embrace change," said Jason Kilar, CEO of Hulu.com, which was launched March 12 by the owners of Fox and NBC Universal. continue reading: http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/01/tv.future/index.html
