Sponsor: RandomPage.com Global Community
The new iPhone 3G is coming on July 11, 2008 with new features such as surfing through 3G network, Maps with GPS and iPhone for Email Enterprise.

The iPhone for Email Enterprise it support the Microsoft Exchange Activesync delivering push email, calendar and contacts. I hope the cut and paste feature is also added with this release.

iPhone 2.0 Software update is also coming not sure if this will be available by July 11, 2008. Keep checking the http://www.apple.com/ website for update.

What to expect in iPhone 2.0 software update?
You will be able to use the iPhone for Enterprise as mention above, easy search for your contact list, additional languages, better email management, email attachment, scientific calculator and applications for iPhone.

What I would like to see in the future release in iPhone is VoIP via WIFI network. This will really give value to my iPhone aside of being a sleek device. Some company are already testing or using VoIP via WIFI network, just to name a few company e.g. Fring.com, iCall.com or Skype will develop one in the future.
See the Fring.com demo:

What is missing here?
  • Multimedia Messaging, maybe fring.com can help.
  • Video conference and recording
  • Cut and Paste, this should be a must have feature
  • A memory card slot
  • Flash support
  • MP3 as ringtone
  • Voice dialing

I guess that leaves the independent developers to come up with their application solutions. Leave your comments.
