
You are using your Microsoft Remote Desktop and after installing the service pack 3 (SP3) for your windows operating system it's stopped working. Well, for security reason Microsoft assumed you don't need this service in your workstation and only administrator use it. Some companies are already using Terminal Servers for telecommute or teleworkers to connect to the company resources.
How to fix this problem? This is not a problem, you just need to go back to manage your add-ons and enable the Microsoft RDP Client Control again. Here's how to enable your RDP.
- In your Microsoft IE browser, click on Tools, Internet Options.
- In Internet Options, click on Programs tab.
- Click Manage add-ons.
- In Manage Add-ons, scroll down till you see the Microsoft RDP Client Control (redist), select it.
- In Settings, select Enable then click OK to execute changes.
