Whaddya know how to disable "Outlook Express to Free up disk space"?

You are using your workstation and you see this prompt about Outlook Express box requesting to Free up disk space with option to click OK or Cancel.

The Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 or later is set to ask about compacting messages after every 100th closing of Outlook Express. (2009, techguy.org)

To correct this problem, you can simply run to compact your Outlook Express folder or updating the registry record.

Option 1. Compacting Folders.
In Outlook Express, click on File, Folder then Compact All Folders

Option 2. Edit the registry.
Look for this key in the Registry (run regedit)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0
Double click the Compact Check Count
Select the Base option for Decimal and change the value to 0
This should change both the Hexadecimal and decimal values from 2 to zero.
Close the Registry.

Restart your computer and check it. If error still occur, please post your comment here or visit PCLiveSupport.com community.
